Corey takes a lot of photographic road trips. Spending a lot his time in cities, he is inspired by the vast tracts of open landscape and forgotten cities of the western United States. Here you will find a collection of images from these many road trips.

Corey loves the city. He believes that one can see the city at face value or look at it as a series of shapes and abstractions stretched through various moods and times. Either way the city landscape provides a very rich and ever changing complex canvas to photograph.

Growing up in Colorado, and living in Washington State, grand landscapes have always been a big part of Corey’s visual life. This has compelled him to spend much of his time exploring and photographing these amazing lands.

The sun provides a lot of light. Once the sun goes away each individual light can come out and play. There are so many possibilities.

If you look through most of Corey’s work you will notice an extreme lack of people. Usually if there is a person in Corey’s photo it is either in abstraction or someone Corey has befriended. Most photos In this series are people Corey has formed close relationships with.
